We have grown to include a retail arm, 36 A Day Golf Co., selling performance golf hats which draw on the visual brand of the company – a fun and respectful fusion of the Canadian maple leaf (and the USA star) and a golf ball. But at the heart of it, we are simply two of Canada’s 5 million golfers who share a passion for this great game along with a deep appreciation for living in this amazing country.
Our mission is to provide golfers with quality products which showcase the greatness of this game, played in this amazing country. Our vision is to grow to be a recognized leader in golf apparel. The brand will highlight the fun, respect, and passion for golf in Canada and the USA. Mike Johnny, Founder and President
Mike works at York University where he leads a knowledge mobilization unit, seeking to take the best of what the university knows and help advance it for public good. A father, fiancé, dog owner, and golf writer, this business venture is an extension of this belief that golf is the best game in the world and that here in Canada, we are fortunate to have access to so many world class public golf courses. The brand he has developed seeks to reflect this. Through hard work, commitment and a little stubbornness, Mike is prepared to work to build this brand to be nationally recognized and respected.
Jason Truncale, Senior Vice-President, Marketing and Sales
Jason owns and operates his own painting and cabinetry contracting business in Chicago, IL. An avid golfer who played competitively in Chicago, Jason wants to engage more deeply with this game, which he is skilled and enthusiastic about. Jason served in the US Navy and understood the value of giving back to support those in need. Jason will lead the development of the business in the United States.
